I was talking to my girls cousin tonight at dinner about old video games. Here are a few that came to mind that I wasted a lot of time. And its also really amazing how they have come along.

Ok so this is  a new grimey hip hop mix I did. Its got a bunch of Mobb Deep, G Unit, Camron, Lox, etc…Im born and raised in NYC. No matter how many of these house and electro mixes I do, my fans still ask me for these hip hop joints. And I still love to do grab some haze and diesel  and bang one out every once in a while when I feel the time is right. Roll something up and enjoy. So I spun at Green House last night and the mixer was leaking on both sides. The monitors were blowing. And the headphone jack didn’t work. So I am writing this article for all my young dj’s out there who feel like qutting after rough nights. There is nothing worse then standing in front of a great crowd that are all looking at you like an ass because broken equipment is making your transitions sound like shit. But you can always learn from nights like last night. No matter what, you have to man up and work with what you have. Bottom line is that noone will ever really understand what is going on in the booth but you. Just use those nights to toughen your self up. Shit happens but you have to just keep on trucking. “Don’t cry over spilled mik.”
